With a new Cpanel/WHM VPS, there are a few things to work through. One is Cpanel Freetype2 installation. I have a captcha code on a number of my pages, and they were not working. Yes, I had GD graphics installed, but how was I to get Freetype2 installed?I registered onto the http://forums.cpanel.net/ site, and found the answer. Unfortunately it was behind a registration screen, and so had not been Googlable.
So the answer:
- You can enable Free Type support from WHM >> Software >> 'Apache Update' option.
- Click on "Load Previous Config" button which will show you the current modules installed
- scroll down the page and select "Freetype Support".
- Start Build.

Unlike "albert", I only searched for about 10 seconds (First result from first google attempt). I guess I should consider myself lucky in that regard. Anyway, thank you for providing(repeating) this information.

Just a comment... on new WHM / cPanel servers, Freetype2 installation is available under the name TTF.
