SearchMasters believes that websites should be fundamentally SEO friendly, and that SEO and basic external backlinks should be built for websites as part of the development process, not as an add on.SEO add on's should be based on obtaining additional links and monitoring and tweaking in order to get to required positions on the search engine results.
While a website can be just a brochure site to be seen by personally invited people, the marketing potential of high rankings on the search engines is an achievable and highly effective goal. Google Advertising is also cheaper when pages are SEO'ed to match the advertised phrases.

SearchMasters SEO Certification
The final aspects of the certification are as follows - at hourly rate plus $200 for the final certification:Tested against: Are onpage, on site, and whole of web SEO done properly? Do you know the strategies needed to get that client ranking high on the search engines in the clients competitive space. Do you know the strategies needed to market the clients website properly?
- working with you checking and tweaking your or your chosen clients website.
- If you have different templating systems - like a shopping cart, blog, forum, Joomla, or in-house Content management system (CMS)... Each one will need to be certified.
- you personally SEOing a <em>second</em> clients site with no input from SearchMasters, and then SearchMasters critiquing that site.

Hourly rate $130 / hr, min $260. All rates plus GST 12.5%
SearchMasters SEO Certify Clients Websites
The training and checking of your systems for creating websites gives your business SearchMasters SEO Certification. However, we recommend that you "sell" your clients a SearchMasters SEO Audit. This will prove to you and to the client that you are in fact doing the SEO work properly on their websites.For $100 per clients website, we will:
- check that a Web Developers check sheet has been signed off
- put the website through our 35+ point checker
- check that the search phrases are appropriate and consider whether any others should be targeted.
You are then able to add a SearchMasters SEO certified logo onto that clients site to say that SearchMasters have looked over it and consider it SEO friendly.
The Certification will not guarantee that they will rank for their chosen search phrases, rather that you have done the SEO properly on their website including some basic linking, so that when the website gets old enough, and they get enough links, that they will rank for their chosen search phrases.
The person attending or sitting the training will be the person responsible for the SEO of the Web developers business. If that person leaves the business, we recommend that there be another person in the organisation who has taken the training, rather than training notes being relied upon. Individual people doing SEO in the Developers business are encouraged to take one of the two SEO101/201 courses, but they may be trained by the person who takes the course.
The Developer remains certified so long as it submits at least one clients website per 6 months to be individually certified.
