SearchMasters took the plunge across the ditch and went to the Search Engine Room March 2007 two day conference. What did I learn:
- that many other web developers have issues with getting the larger corporates to actually do SEO - see the case study on travel.com.au
- therefore many SEO companies are focusing on Google Adwords/Yahoo/MSN Search Marketing. Instant results, good cost benefit.
- that the SearchMasters training is world class! The quality of the conference was good, but I considered the content of the organic Search Engine Optimisation seminars was not up to the detail of the SearchMasters SEO101 Three Simple Steps, and 201/301 SearchMasters Secrets seminars.
